       Friday, November 18, 2011 was a special day for St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church. It was a day that brought over two hundred people together, united by a single and most worthy cause: To see the local hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, realize its efforts in providing exceptional health care and services to its citizens. 

With a lot of hard work and dedication from the church administration, women's auxiliary and volunteers, another successful Macedonian Cultural Festival presented by St Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church had arrived and, unfortunately, departed far too quickly. It was an event that brought great food, wonderful entertainment, moments of camaraderie, celebration and jubilation from September 9th to 11th, 2011.

The North American Macedonian Convention was took place over Labour Day long weekend, this year being hosted by St Bogorodica in Cambridge, Ontario.

We’d like to inform you that starting September 13, 2011, the Pensioners Society with assistance from the Church will begin serving weekly lunches to Pensioners every Tuesday.
